A relief to see this sign, but for the record, my GPS put our total walk at 67km (42 miles). And yes, there are SO MANY sandflies. Make sure the bug spray is handy. My advice to enjoy the experience...take it seriously - this is serious country that can turn on you very quickly - be very trekking fit and strong and be well prepared with good rain gear and wool clothing and waterproof boots or you will be miserable...
